A Special Curriculum for Maximum Impact

Members of our demonstration team train with a specialized curriculum that focuses on advanced martial arts techniques, acrobatic moves, and high-energy performance skills. Training with us means developing not only physical skills but also a strong sense of discipline, self-confidence, and teamwork. Who can participate in your women’s self-defense classes?

Our program is open to women ages 12 and up, all fitness levels, and whether you’re a beginner or have some experience in self-defense.

What types of techniques will I learn in the class?

You’ll learn practical self-defense techniques, including how to break free from grabs/holds, deliver powerful strikes, and guard/protect yourself.

Do I need prior martial arts experience to join?

No prior experience is necessary! Our classes are designed to be accessible and effective for beginners while still challenging for those with some background.

How do your classes help build confidence?

Your increased knowledge of awareness, prevention, how "bad guys" operate, as well as learning physical techniques, will give you more control of your personal safety.

What kind of scenarios do you cover in the training?

We practice walking with confidence, responding to being approached by unknown strangers, and defending yourself during vulnerable situations.

Is the environment supportive for beginners?

Absolutely! This is a safe and encouraging environment where you can learn under the guidance of an experienced female instructor.

How often do the self-defense classes take place?

Our regular 5-week course takes place three times per year on Thursday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm - during February/March, April/May, and September/October. Contact us for the current schedule.

Do you offer group self-defense sessions?

Yes, we can do team-building events, family groups, or friends wanting to learn together. Our minimum group size is 6 participants. Maximum is 20.

What should I wear or bring to class?

Wear clothing that is comfortable for physical activity. No skirts or shorts. All necessary training equipment will be provided during the class. We recommend participants bring their own water bottle.
